GUIDE: Where to watch UFC live on TV & Streaming

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is the premier mixed martial arts organization in America, treating combat sports fans to high-octane bouts that combine various martial arts disciplines, such as boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, karate, Muay Thai, and Judo. Fighters take part in thrilling, high-stakes bouts, across a variety of different formats and weight divisions, providing year-round action for fans.

With fights taking place all year long and all over the world, it is crucial that you know where to find up-to-date information on dates, timings, and broadcast listings. That’s where we at Livesportsontv.com come in. You can find all the information you need here, along with all the other sports listings you need.

So, with several big fights coming up, here is everything you need to know about watching UFC.

Watch UFC, Fight Night & PPV Events live on TV

If you are looking to watch UFC on TV in the U.S., then ESPN is your go-to network, and ESPN+ is your new best friend. As the exclusive broadcaster of UFC events since 2018, ESPN+ is the host of UFC Fight Nights, preliminary cards, and pay-per-view events, treating fans to live action on an almost weekly basis, and plenty of on-demand content as well. To get access to all of this, you need an ESPN+ subscription, which costs $10.99 a month.

Content: NHL, UFC, College Sports
Price: $10.99/mo. - 109.99/yr.
Benefit: Exclusive on-demand videos

Whilst Fight Nights and prelims are included in the monthly cost of owning an ESPN+ subscription, the big ticket, pay-per-view (PPV) items require additional costs, which we detail later.

Nevertheless, ESPN+ does give fans access to a hell of a lot of live combat action over the year, without the need to cough up too much of your hard-earned cash. In addition to UFC Fight Night, subscribers will also benefit from a huge library of replays and additional UFC programming, such as the Ultimate Fighter and Dana White’s Contender  Series.

A subscription to ESPN+ is the only way to guarantee that you get access to as much UFC action as possible, but some live UFC prelims and recap shows are aired on the regular ESPN channel, which is accessible via other television cable or satellite packages. For example, the likes of Comcast, DirecTV, and Verizon Fios, amongst others, include ESPN in their extensive list of channels. This means you can enjoy select UFC bouts, alongside a wide array of other news, entertainment, and sports channels.

However, with these packages often coming with long-term contracts, don’t forget about streaming services such as Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and many more, which come with much more flexible contract options. These also all have ESPN, alongside a wide range of other channels, allowing you to completely upgrade your television viewing experience. Hulu would be our stand-out choice, because it includes ESPN+ within its Disney Bundle, giving you unrivaled access to UFC, along with plenty of other channels to enjoy.

UFC Fight Pass

For die-hard UFC fans, UFC Fight Pass is a fantastic option. This offers access to all live UFC prelims and early prelims, in addition to a comprehensive library of past UFC events, early prelims, exclusive fight content, and UFC main cards 48 hours after airing. However, it does not include live PPV events in the U.S. This essentially makes it only suitable as a bolt-on on top of ESPN+, which is the platform you will need for the PPV events. UFC Fight Pass costs $9.99 a month or $95.99 a year.

UFC Pay-Per-View: How it Works

With all of that in mind, a simple subscription to ESPN+ for $10.99 a month is the best way to go. ESPN+ gives you all the UFC action you need, plus it is the platform that you need to have access to in order to enjoy the pay-per-view (PPV) bouts. These are UFC’s most highly anticipated events, such as UFC 308, and UFC 309, which typically cost around $79.99 per event. ESPN+ does offer one money-saving option that allows you to get an annual ESPN+ subscription, plus one PPV event for $124.98.

To stream UFC PPV events, simply sign up for ESPN+, navigate to the UFC section, and select the event you want to purchase. After making the payment, you can stream the fight live on your preferred device.
