Wild-Card Round Preview - Steelers @ Ravens
A five-game losing streak is not how you want to enter the playoffs, but that is exactly where the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves. To make matters worse, that streak includes two heavy defeats to AFC powerhouses in Kansas City and their opponents this weekend, Baltimore. The Ravens enjoyed a 34-17 victory when these two teams met just a few weeks ago, and they are entering the postseason full of confidence, having scored over 30 points in four straight games, all of which they won.
There is no doubt that the Steelers are heavy underdogs here, but they typically play the Ravens well, and the familiarity of this being an in-division clash could give them the boost they need to trigger an upset.

Steelers @ Ravens Wild-Card Round Preview
This is a very daunting fixture for the visitors here. In Baltimore, you have Lamar Jackson, who could be in line for his third MVP Award, Derrick Henry, who has crossed 1,900 yards on the season, and a defense who have rounded into form nicely. That combination of talent have produced the third most points this year, with 30.5 per game, and limited opponents to just 21.2, which is 9th best. You could say that this AFC juggernaut is peaking right now, which is absolutely not the case for their opponents.
Pittsburgh have lost five on the bounce and their offensive woes have been on full display. Quarterback Russell Wilson hasn’t crossed 220 yards passing in five weeks, and has only had a passer rating of over 100 once in that stretch, with all games resulting in a loss. The good news for Steelers fans is that Wilson did have a solid enough game against these Ravens just a few weeks ago, but he will now be facing off against a defense that is clicking at just the right time, having held their last two opponents to just 12 points combined. If Wilson is going to keep up with Lamar Jackson, then he will need George Pickens to sort himself out, having brought in just 1 of 6 targets last week, with three bad drops.
For Jackson, he will have to battle with the ongoing narrative that he cannot perform in the postseason, and he couldn't ask for a much tougher opponent to be facing. The Steelers defense knows him and the Ravens very well, and they have been stingy all year, giving up just 20.4 points per game, which is 8th best in the NFL. T.J. Watt has been quiet in recent weeks, for his standard, but you know that he is a big game hunter, and it doesn't get much bigger than this. The Ravens will enter this game as heavy favorites, but the familiarity between the two teams certainly makes it a dangerous spot for Baltimore.

Wild-Card Round Predictions: Steelers @ Ravens
There is no denying that Lamar Jackson has had his struggles in the playoffs, but this is surely too good of a roster to see him falter again. With Derrick Henry by his side, the duo are one of the most formidable rushing threats in NFL history, which only opens up more space in the passing game for Zay Flowers (injury pending) and an improved Rashod Bateman. Not to mention Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.
