Changes for the 2024 Olympics Compared to the 2021 Olympics

The 2024 Summer Olympics will feature several changes in the competition program compared to previous Games. In athletics, the men's 50 km walk is replaced with a mixed-team event. In canoeing, several adjustments are made, including the removal of the men's and women's K-1 200 m kayak singles. The men's K-2 1000 m kayak doubles are replaced with K-2 500 m, and the men's C-2 1000 m canoe doubles are replaced with C-2 500 m.
