PGA Tour 2025: Where to Watch, Cable & Streaming Options, Schedule

The PGA Tour is a year-round celebration of golf, with an eye-popping cast of characters set to battle it out across some of the world’s nicest courses, as they try to win the FedEx Cup.  With the likes of Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Xander Schauffele, and many more gunning for glory, you don’t want to miss out.

So, this guide is going to make sure you have all the information you need to watch the PGA Tour live. Remember, for up-to-date broadcast information and PGA Tour TV schedule, always check out Livesportsontv.com.

PGA Tour Explained: Schedule, Structure & Key Events

The PGA Tour runs essentially all year long, typically starting in January and wrapping up with the FedEx Cup Playoffs in late summer. From coast to coast, players compete in over 40 events annually, with a mix of regular-season stops, invitations, and the always anticipated Majors (which aren’t actually a part of the PGA Tour, standing as independent events).

Beginning in 2024, the PGA Tour introduced Signature Events. These are limited-field events with bigger prize pots, and there are eight in 2025. Eligible players are only allowed to miss one signature event per season, so this is where you will see the most competitive fields and highest-profile names. Players can then pick and choose which of the other events they wish to play, depending on whether they hit the eligibility criteria.

The vast majority of the calendar would be considered the regular season, with players racking up FedEx Points, in the hope that they qualify for the FedExCup Playoffs. This is a three-event series, culminating in the Tour Championship.

How to Watch the PGA Tour Without Cable

You don’t need cable to follow every drive, chip, and putt on the 2025 PGA Tour. Channels such as Golf Network USA, CBS, and NBC carry the vast majority of the schedule, and the good news is, you can find all of those channels bundled together in many of the best streaming services available. These typically have far more flexibility than cable and satellite options, whilst also hosting a wide array of channels to choose from. Let’s break down your best options.

TV Streaming Services

Fubo TV (Starting at $84.99 per month)

With over 200 channels to choose from, Fubo TV is more than just a solution for watching the PGA Tour, it’s a complete revamp of your television viewing experience. Golf Channel will get you all the PGA Tour action you could possibly need, and the extensive channel portfolio sets you up for the majors and a wide array of other sports and entertainment. There is also the added bonus of unlimited DVR and a brilliantly smooth user experience. However, there are no parental controls, which might make this a less appealing option for a family.

Hulu with Live TV (Starting at $81.99 per month)

Hulu with Live TV must be the pick of the litter for golf fans, as it comes with ESPN+ as part of the package. This will expand your gold viewing options even further than merely having Golf Channel, and certainly covers you for some of the majors. This platform also has a slick navigation system and unlimited DVR cloud storage, meaning you can catch up on golf even when it doesn’t fit into your busy schedule.

YouTube TV (Starting at $82.99 per month)

YouTube TV is another great option, featuring Golf Channel, ESPN, and CBS, amongst an extensive channel portfolio of over 100 channels. There is also the option to add on the Sports Plus package, which provides access to NFL RedZone, Fox College Sports, Fox Soccer Plus, and many other channels.

Live Streaming Platforms

ESPN+ (Starting at $11.99 per month)

If you want a slightly more cost-effective way to enjoy the PGA Tour, then why not consider ESPN+? This carries 35 PGA Tour Events throughout the year with its PGA Tour Live programming, giving you elite access to the world’s top golfers. Enjoy either the main coverage, or a pick of several other feeds, including featured holes or groups, depending on what you want to keep a closer eye on.

There is also plenty of entertaining golf content available in the on-demand library, and you’ll also benefit from a wide array of the other sports available on ESPN+. At just $11.99 per month, this is a great option for anyone wanting to watch the PGA Tour without coughing up too much cash.

Paramount+ ($7.99 per month (Essential) or $12.99 per month with Showtime)

Another budget option for golf fans is Paramount+, which comes in even cheaper than ESPN+. Now, this does only offer select PGA Tour events, and does typically only cover the final two days of each tournament, but it’s still a good way to enjoy some PGA Tour access for a cheaper price. Subscribers will also get a vast array of other sports, including NFL on CBS and UEFA Champions League.

How to Watch the PGA Tour on Cable and Satellite

For those of you who still roll with the traditional TV setup of cable or satellite, there are a few different channels to be aware of, offering different levels of exposure to the PGA Tour.

Golf Channel USA

It doesn't get much easier than this for Golf fans; every single PGA Tour event is carried on Golf Channel, from tournament previews, to all four rounds of live coverage and post-tournament analysis. The bottom line is, if you have Golf Channel, you are set and ready to go, and the even better news is that Golf Channel is available on most streaming or cable packages.

It is worth mentioning, however, that the Majors will be broadcast on the bigger, national broadcasters, such as ESPN, CBS, and USA Network.

ESPN

ESPN is the most restricted broadcaster when it comes to live PGA Tour action. The channel hosts the first two rounds of The Masters and the first two rounds and early weekend coverage of the PGA Championship. Aside from that, ESPN gets no PGA Tour action. However, their bolt-on streaming service ESPN+ is the home of PGA Tour Live, with live coverage of all 35 tournaments. There is more information on that detailed in the segment above.

CBS/NBC

Broadcasting rights for the PGA Tour are held by CBS and NBC. Golf Channel, listed above, is a division of NBC Sports, and has a different viewing schedule. Under the contract that CBS and NBC have in place with the PGA Tour until 2030, CBS broadcasts weekend coverage for an average of 20 events per season, including the Masters and PGA Championship, whereas NBC broadcasts weekend coverage for an average of 10 events per season, including no majors. Livesportsontv.com will help you figure out which channel is hosting this weekend’s event.

If you want the early rounds coverage, you will need Golf Channel USA. However, both CBS and NBC do get the benefit of the final three events of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, alternating annually between the two channels.
