The franchise is owned by Anschutz Entertainment Group, which is headquartered in Los Angeles. It is the world’s largest owner of sports teams and events. Anschutz has a stake in both the NHL’s L.A. Kings and the NBA’s Lakers. It also owns and operates the annual Coachella Music Festival.
